Each year their colour of the year brings a new pallet to the creative centre stage in giving inspiration for the year ahead.

What Pantone have to say about Viva Magenta-

Bold And Beautiful Florals

Undoubtedly one of the first things couples and designers think of when considering how a wedding is going to look is always the florals, the traditional décor staple, with endless non-traditional applications and uses. You could go big with a statement ceremony installation full of colour and drama, feature bright pops of magenta in your bouquet blooms or ribbon trails, or create a vibrant summer meadow along the lengths of you wedding breakfast tables. With each season bringing new blooms to the forefront there is a stunning floral variety perfect for your designs no matter the time of year.

Statement Stationery

Setting the tone for your day, your wedding stationery is the first interaction you guests have with your wedding, so why not make them a riot of colour! Whether you are working with a stationer, going DIY or even digital there are so many options and styles to choose from and fun elements you can use to convey the essential information, and of course your style to guests. Consider a coloured paper with a white letter pressed font, statement envelopes or wraps, or something more neutral and classic with a pop of colour from a silk magenta ribbon embellishment.

Wonderful Wedding parties

Wedding party attire is another traditional way of incorporating your wedding colours into the day, including bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen’s accessories. For couples wanting to add a little more style or drama to the photo line-up why not consider coloured suits for your wedding party, the groom, or go all out with a statement coloured wedding dress. The magenta pallet is a great base for building the wedding party attire from, with beautifully subtle neutral tones that suit everyone and work wonderfully with the bold bursts of magenta.

A Piece Of Cake

Always an exciting and fun part of the wedding planning process, choosing the wedding cake is another opportunity to showcase the full viva magenta colour pallet, or pick you your favourite tones for a more monotone look. Consider using textures to build in those subtle tones, or add pops of the bolder magenta too. We also love edible favours especially when they can we an additional décor or colour element on your table scape. These handmade mallows from Bitesize Bake house are a perfect little thank you to guests that also add another layer of styling to your place settings, or to a cake or dessert table.

Perfect place settings

Who wouldn’t be excited for the meal come when sitting down to a beautiful laid table, as the saying goes we eat with our eyes!

With your tablescape design and styling, the sky is the limit in terms of tableware options and combinations. Your wedding breakfast is the time to share both the meal and memories with your closest friends and family and so is a key element of the day from a guest experience perspective. There are so many great suppliers out there with stunning options from linens to silverware and glasses, that really allow couples to curate a bespoke place setting that draws together the various style elements of their day into one visual. Some of the simplest ways to bring colour into your designs would be to consider the napkins and glassware initially, taking this further why not look at building your tablescape on a bold full colour linen, or introduce a mix of coloured crockery and charger plates. Don’t forget your stationery will come back into play here with guest names cards showing them their seats and menu cards if you chose to include them.

We Love lighting

As the daytime moves over for the party one of our favourite elements for couples to consider is lighting. Whether it be simple coloured up lighting to fill the space with a subtle hue and gently introduce the party vibe, or striking neon signage all out announcing that this is where the party is. There are countless options out there for creative event lighting, ask your structure or venue supplier if they have options for this, perhaps your entertainment provider also supplies lighting or consider a dedicated supplier for something more.
