Retail Christmas Decoration for Vindis Group

As Christmas décor super fans, our team love returning to venues and businesses each year and bringing new a different schemes to the spaces. As well as building a relationship with the onsite teams year after year, investing in returning professional seasonal décor communicates a consistent and reliable high standard to the business's staff and customers.

In early December 2023, our decorating teams returned to Vindis Group locations across Cambridgeshire to install and decorate trees and garlands at their luxury car showrooms.

Brief One- Luxury Dark Blue Alpine Christmas

When the Bentley Cambridge team came to us with their vision for their 2023 scheme we were instantly excited and couldn’t wait to get started. Due to launch two new flagship models in December, it was key to ensure the seasonal décor was aligned with the brand launch guidelines, set to be a luxury Alps aesthetic but deep blues, and natural elements evoking the textures of the forest.

The Proposal

With the show room set to have a fresh 10ft Christmas tree in the centre of their full-height glass window, our team proposed supplementing this with two of our real look 6ft faux trees to frame the reception desk and welcome customers as they first enter. All lit with an abundance of soft warm lights to twinkle through the daytime, and at night light up the showroom with a cosy glow to be seen by those driving by.

Decorations to include large navy velvet baubles, a variety of luxury textured glass decorations and touches of copper and metallic browns to warm the scheme and tie the blues to the more natural elements. Dried grapevine garlands to be woven around the branches to create a natural and flowing shape, and snow-tipped pine cones bring in the frosty feel of the European Alps that is key to the brand launch pack and guidelines. A touch of scent and pops of colour from dried cinnamon, orange slices and whole satsumas elevate the scheme to a refined wild luxury aesthetic.

The Delivered Scheme

Brief Two- Modern White and Silver Christmas

Create a modern seasonal scheme to include 2x 10ft decorated trees and a wrap-around luxury garland for the reception desk.

The Proposal

Building on the success of last year’s scheme at this location we took a crisp and modern approach to ensure the décor was consistent with the aesthetic of the space and brand image. Focusing on white, silver and gunmetal grey the trees and garlands feature baubles of various shapes and tones as well as oversized stars to create a dynamic visual. Coordinating luxury wrapped faux gifts surround the bases of the trees with paper and ribbons in the full pallet and with a mix of textures and tones. The reception desk garland is created using a variety of high-quality faux foliage which is also added into the trees to co-ordinate the piece together. A fresh snowy effect of some of the foliage gives a frosty feel to match the white and silver baubles and sit side by side with the location's crisp white and grey décor.
