Neutral Stone Photoshoot at The Granary Estates
Last summer we had the pleasure of teaming up with a brilliant group of suppliers at The Granary Estates to style this beautiful photoshoot. Opting for a palette of neutrals, with just a hint of blush, pale blue and sage, the results were an effortlessly elegant look, which perfectly suited the striking flint barn.
One of the areas we designed and styled for the shoot was the ceremony area. We adapted a set of screens we already had, creating a bespoke ceremonial backdrop for the couple to stand in front of. We repainted the screens in three different neutral shades, to create a striking yet soft backdrop to frame the couple during the ceremony. The curved shape of the screens helped to soften the look and give it a modern feel, breaking up the flint wall behind. We then incorporated wicker lanterns to add another texture, and provide a slight boho twist to the look. Finally, the florist, Two Girls & Some Flowers, added arrangements in a complimentary palette to complete the look.
After the ceremony we re-used the lanterns and arrangements to style a lounge area. We used our two wing back rattan chairs and a matching rattan oversized coffee table. We softened this with neutral accessories, including cushions, blankets and throws. This coupled with the candles helped to create a cosy and inviting space.
Finally, we created a timeless and elegant tablescape. We opted for a long naked trestle table, and lime-washed chairs to create an informal look, which we felt suited the overall style of the shoot. We introduced silver in the cutlery, candlesticks and the charger plate which also further complimented the neutral palette. We added a touch of pink with a blush linen napkin and this helped to incorporate another texture. Finally, all of this was offset beautifully by the florals by Two Girls and Some Flowers and the simple, yet elegant stationary by Olive & Millicent.
We hope you love this beautiful shoot as much as we do!
