Dried Flower Wedding Inspiration

If you’re looking for dried flower inspiration, this stunning wedding at stately home, Holkham Hall, is for you. We loved working for H & P to design, style, cater and provide florals and props for their elegant summer wedding. Their day included a romantic ceremony in the Marble Hall surrounded by candles, and a reception in the Lady Elizabeth Wing that featured a truly epic dried flower hanging installation, created by our team.

When planning the design and florals, H & P wanted to incorporate dried flowers and tones of pink, nude and off white. We worked with the couple to conceptualise the styling for the event and created an effortlessly luxe look that included an array of dried floral arrangements and elegant touches.

A true transformation took place in the Lady Elizabeth Wing. The couple wanted to prioritise the florals here and we created oversized and abundant arrangements to ensure the designs were impactful. This all white space was the perfect blank canvas backdrop for our dried flower creations, and we suspended 4 6ft pampas clouds above the long banquet tables. These impressive dried installations worked perfectly in the LEW and created a magical canopy for guests to dine under.

The limewashed trestle tables, were lined with soft pink linen runners and elegant gold-lined glassware and charger plates, all supplied by CMA Hire. We dotted bud vases and bottles with florals down the tables, and occasionally added larger footed bowl arrangements to add impact. Ester and Erik taper candles in tones of soft pink and white were also interspersed amongst the florals.

At the end of each long row, we created bespoke dried and floral arrangements which faced the guests as they entered the Lady Elizabeth Wing. Dried foliage, palm spears and roses cascaded down the table and we added oversized disco balls at the base, alongside meadow arrangements. We created similar arrangements to line the front of the top table, creating a cohesive glam look.

Alongside florals for the venue, we designed bouquets for H and her bridal party. These included beautiful fresh roses, anthurium and orchids, with dried and bleached grasses and foliage. The striking arrangements worked perfectly with H’s elegant long sleeved gown.

Inside the Marble Hall, we added candles on the steps and mixed styles to create an abundant and varied look. All of the candles used are available to hire from our props company, Stories Event Hire.
