Claire & Tank's Elegant Marquee Wedding
Today we are looking back at the beautiful wedding of Claire & Tank held last summer at Tank’s family home.
This elegant and perfectly styled day started with the reception at a local church. Guests then walked back through the village to Tank’s family home, where there was a 3 pole marquee, styled with an abundance of fresh florals and foliage by Willow and Wolf Flowers.
The celebrations began with drinks and canapes on the lawn, in which guests sipped champagne, complete with edible flowers and there was also a whole wheelbarrow filled with beer to enjoy. All of the drink's reception took place with the backdrop of a string quartet.
Inside the marquee, the tables were elegantly styled in a palette of dusty pinks, with crockery from Classic Crockery, and linen from Just4Linen. These were perfectly complemented by the vintage brass candlesticks from Helene Millot and colourful summer florals by Willow & Wolf Flowers.
Our team provided the catering and on-the-day coordination. For the wedding breakfast, the couple opted for a 3 course meal, with two plated options and a dessert display to finish. Our team styled the station with edible flowers, foliage and candles.
After the meal, saw the evening party commence and what a party it was! With an abundance of cocktails, including a Nebruni (a Negroni, with Irn-Bruu) as a nod towards the bride's Scottish roots and their very own booze bath. The fun signage, by Frankie at Bewilderly helped to tie everything together.
The whole day was the perfect balance between elegance and fun, and we hope you enjoy looking back on it as much as we do! All of the images are by the wonderful Kelsie Low Photography, who captured the day perfectly!
