Chic Cafe Christmas Decor
Overlooking Sheep’s Meadow and the Mill Pond of the river cam in the centre of Cambridge, Bean Theory coffee shop is dedicated to crafting exceptional coffee experiences. With this passion for quality and guest experience their team knew how important it was to enhance the space with stylish and curated seasonal décor which is both inspirational to visitors and truly reflects the brand and its values.
The Brief
Design and install a stylish and aspirational Christmas scheme with a modern yet rustic Nordic style. Key colours should reflect the brand colours and décor in the space. The focus should be on a limited colour pallet of dark blues, orange, black and white with luxury fresh look greenery and wooden alpine props. Installations should include the 6 windows whilst not impeding guest views of the river and due to the slim window sills down to the floor, considerations should be made to ensure they do not affect guest use of the spaces. A feature garland should be included to highlight the product merchandising shelves, with décor to include dried citrus and cinnamon for an element of scent throughout the scheme.
The proposal
Window décor to include hanging statement paper stars in the main colour tones at varying heights and sizes. Alpine-style luxury faux trees to decorate window corners and where spaces allow. All décor to be lit with warm white micro lights to create a gentle aesthetic glow without becoming overpowering. A luxury faux garland placed asymmetrically on product merchandise shelves to feature dried fruits and whole spices as well as acorns and miniature baubles in tones to match those of the window stars.
