Rustic Barn Wedding

A beautiful barn wedding in the Cambridgeshire countryside!

Our summer season is flying by as we enjoy multiple weddings every week, serving glorious food & styling in new exciting ways. How about this weather too? All of our couples have been so lucky with the glorious sunshine.

I just wanted to take a moment to marvel over the beautiful wedding of Toby & Emily which was photographed by the uber talented Ben & Tim of Milk Bottle Photography. It was a day full of love & laughter with over 130 of the couples nearest & dearest gathering at Wilobe to help celebrate & dance the night away!

We served up delicious canapes out on the lawn overlooking the lake, antipasti sharing boards & slow roasted aromatic lamb for main served to the tables with carving sets, aprons & the added bonus of chef hats which the guests loved!

We love pleasing every couple & by getting to know them we find out things they like or in the bride’s case, what she loves! The groom sent me an amazing email marked ‘surprise peas’ to be served to her as one of her favourite foods. We wanted to make this surprise extra special so served a trio platter of peas for the bride to enjoy (I think her face says it all).

The bride wore a stunning plunge back dress with intricate beading, groomsmen suits in several navy tones & the bridesmaids in unique pale blue dresses each with a different style which were all beautiful. Flowers by Clare Jones Floral Design added colour with bold peonies, fresh blues & greens which were perfect for this stylish countryside wedding.

After the wedding breakfast the guests & our staff were treated to the sounds of The Brightside Band who were AMAZING! They had everyone dancing from start to finish including our chefs hiding away in the kitchen!
